Required Documents for Polish Boat Registration

To register your boat in Poland, you will need the following:

Owner’s identity document (for individuals) or proof of identity for all directors (for companies).

Proof of ownership (invoice, sales agreement, bill of sale, or notary statement).

A copy/scan of one of these documents

  • CE certificate of the yacht, or
  • Tonnage certificate, or
  • Builder’s certificate, or
  • Survey report, or
  • Yacht manual.
  • For boats manufactured in 1998 or later, you must also provide a photo of the CE plate, the hull number, and the CE certificate. If your boat exceeds 14 meters, we require a copy of the CE certificate or a document showing the dimensions. Additionally, a photo of the engine with the engine number or the motor’s CE certificate is required.

MMSI Radio License for VHF, AIS, Radar, and EPIRB

Obtaining an MMSI radio license for your vessel is simple with our assistance. This license covers communication equipment like VHF radio, radar, EPIRB, and transponders. It’s legally required, and we can organize this for €350 for a lifetime validity.

    The Polish MMSI application requires:

A copy of the radio operator’s certificate (any European certificate is accepted),

A device list (brand and model),

CE declaration of conformity for each device (we can assist with this),

A copy of your Polish registration,

Authorization for us to register on your behalf.

Note that the MMSI application can only be made once you’ve received your original Polish registration, and the process takes about 12 weeks. Portable devices, such as portable VHF radios, do not require a Polish MMSI license.
